Samui First House Hotel - Chaweng (Koh Samui)

The air-con worked a treat, but the breakfast options were pretty basic. Still, the beach was choice, just a hop away for swims!

The breakfast is satisfactory even for vegetarians, had lovely food. The location is magnificent, restaurants and bars were near the hotel. Btw, it's just a pleasant stroll away from city centre.

Had good stay on vacation and the weather was wonderful. The employees were outstandingly friendly and affable. Everything was simply great: )

The location was pretty decent, just a short walk to the beach and shops. I enjoyed the pool, which had enough sun-beds for relaxing afternoons. the furniture in my room felt quite outdated and wasn't the most comfortable. it met my needs for a few nights during my trip focused on enjoying the local attractions.

Cockroaches in the room. Unprofessional staff that were disinterested in the customers. Had to pay for the use of the gym, which was not listed on the hotel information.

Decent hotel, good service. We stayed for one night to have an easy transfer to ko pha ngan. good hotel for transfer. close to airport, good taxi connection to the boats.

Access to the beach by the bridge provided a unique charm. Room amenities covered basic needs for relaxation.

Location felt isolated as nearby attractions were mostly closed. The pool lacked cleanliness, and overall maintenance issues were noticeable, with many areas appearing outdated. Air conditioning was noisy and posed temperature control challenges.

Everything was perfect! We even decided to stay 2 more nights.

The private beach access is a solid perk, letting you dip into the ocean whenever you fancy.

I encountered a few non-functional bulbs in the bathroom and hallway, made navigating in the dark a bit tricky. The WiFi is more temperamental than a Wookiee in a bad mood-constantly dropping signal, which doesn't help when you finally get that TV they promised. The shower setup is downright clumsy. Without a curtain, you might as well splash water everywhere. Breakfast is limited and repetitive, and it's a risk letting birds near the buffet. Finally, the pool looked rather dirty and questionable.

Very nice room for the price. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Wi-Fi was free, but kept stopping working. Beds could be a little softer. Balcony faced out onto a wall, so was pointless.

It's money value for sure.

Enjoyed delicious daily breakfasts filled with fresh tropical fruits like rambutan and papaya. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained.

In our 3 weeks in Thailand this has been the worst hotel when you compare value for money. At the far end of Chaweng beach, it's neither a good option if you want to stay in the middle of restaurants, bars etc. nor if you seek silence. Room was'nt very clean, bed was uncomfortable, all in all def not the best place to stay in Ko Samui.
